Rubber Rubber market turns listless Our Correspondent
KOTTAYAM, April 16 THE rubber market was generally listless on Wednesday, but prices looked up a little on short supply. Arrivals were poor and buying activities were also on a low key. However, singled out transactions took place involving purchases for the small manufacturers and the rubber thus acquired was transported in jeeps and small trucks for the units within Kerala. But transportation across the State is not taking place. Sheet rubber RSS 4 improved to Rs 51.50 per kg on Wednesday from Rs 51 on Monday and RSS 5 to Rs 49.50 from Rs 49.Block rubber ISNR 20 and latex concentrate remained flat at Rs 49 and Rs 38 per kg respectively. Ungraded rubber improved to Rs 48.50 from Rs 48 per kg.
