TEA seeks waiver from power tariff

COIMBATORE: Knitwear exporters from Tirupur has asked the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to exempt the export manufacturing firms from the electricity tariff hike announced by the State Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) representing the knitwear exporters felt the hike in the tariff would have cascading effect on the pricing of the merchandise.&
