Kerala cable TV users oppose hike

KOCHI: The All-Kerala Television Viewers Association, an organisation of cable TV subscribers, was formed here recently with the main objective of fighting the recent hike in the monthly rentals charged by cable TV providers.

As part of an agitation, the new body has called upon cable TV subscribers not to pay the raised rentals. The association has also threatened that the subscribers would launch a cable TV boycott if the providers did not withdraw the hike, a release issued here said.
