Announcements Ceat offers lifetime guarantee for Secura brand Our Bureau
MUMBAI, March 16 CEAT Ltd, a major player in the Indian tyre market, has announced an `Unconditional lifetime replacement guarantee' scheme for its entire range of Secura brand of two-wheeler tyres. Under the scheme, consumers of these tyre products, used for motor cycles, scooters and mopeds, will be entitled to a lifetime replacement of the Ceat tyre in case of any manufacturing or non-manufacturing defects. The guarantee will be valid during the entire life of the tyre, typically between three to five years, and will be effective only if the consumer is using a genuine Ceat tube along with the tyre. Mr Paras K. Chowdhary, Managing Director of Ceat Ltd, said this was part of the company's initiative to continuously enhance consumer value.
