Workshop on VAT

BANGALORE: The Karnataka chapter of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations is organising a workshop on value-added tax (VAT) on March 15.

The workshop is being organised to give more input and clear understanding on major implications of VAT especially for exporters, said a FIEO press release.

A presentation on the salient features and implication of VAT to the traders, particularly exporters will be made by the officials of the Commercial Taxes Department, it said.
