Infosys' banking summit in Bangkok

BANGALORE: Infosys Technologies is hosting a banking summit with a theme "Technology-enabled agile banking" at Bangkok on March 3. The summit is being inaugurated by the Thailand Prime Minister, Dr Thaksin Shinawatra and presided over by the Chairman and Chief Mentor of the company, Mr N. R.Narayana Murthy, said an Infosys press release. The event is expected to attract senior bankers and prominent dignitiaries in Thailand, according to the release.

Infosys has identified Thailand as a key target market for its global banking solutions suite - Finacle, and has entered into partnership with Thailand's Datamat Public Company Ltd and Yip In Tsoi & Co to market its banking solutions in the region.
