CHENNAI, Feb. 17

BHARAT Sanchar Nigam Ltd proposes to conduct a lucky draw for those paying their telephone bills promptly.

The draw will be held at three levels — SSA, circle and national level. While all the 18 SSA level winners will be presented with an ITC card worth Rs 5,250, the winner at the circle level will drive away a Hero Honda motorcycle worth Rs 40,000.

The all-India prize winner will get a Maruti Alto-LX car worth Rs 300,000, according to a BSNL press release.

The national-level draw will be held in Delhi, and the SSA and circle level draws of Tamil Nadu circle will be held on February 20 in Tiruchi.

The scheme is open only to those subscribers who have no outstanding dues against their telephone or telex bills as on October 30, 2002.

Employees of the Department of Telecommunications and associated public sector units are excluded from the scheme, according to the release.
