Mutual Funds Birla MF plans Bond Index Fund Our Bureau
HYDERABAD, Jan. 30 BIRLA Sun Life Asset Management Company, the joint venture of Aditya Birla group and Sun Life Financial of Canada, is planning to tap the market with innovative mutual fund products soon, beginning with Bond Index Fund. Addressing newspersons here on Wednesday, the company's Country Head, Sales and Distribution, Mr Vikas Sachdeva, said the Bond Index Fund was prepared based on the Crisil Bond Fund Index and would be launched during the next fortnight. Stating that the AMC was also ready with a couple of more innovative products for launch soon, Mr Sachdeva said, the growth of Birla Mutual Fund would be triggered primarily through rollout of new schemes under organic route.
