Suven Pharma plans to expand

HYDERABAD, Jan. 30

SUVEN Pharmaceuticals Ltd, the Hyderabad-based active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates manufacturer, has chalked out a detailed programme for future expansion.

In a release to stock exchanges, the company said its future plans include upgrading of the cGMP Kilo lab, setting up cGMP pilot plant and a regulatory analytical R&D centre, upgrading its plant located at Suryapet in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh to GMP standard, setting up of a green field discovery centre and a development centre in the US.

However, the company did not disclose the capital expenditure plans saying that the details were currently being worked out.
