MUMBAI, Jan. 29 BLUE Star Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 3.38 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2002 compared to Rs 72 lakh in the corresponding period last year. The company has recorded net sales of Rs 114.23 crore as against Rs 98.64 crore. Total expenditure was Rs 107.33 crore compared to Rs 93.26 crore during the same period in the previous year. For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2002, the company has recorded a net profit of Rs 11.11 crore compared to Rs 7.81 crore. Net sales for the period stood at Rs 371.63 crore as against Rs 328.22 crore during the same period in the previous year.
