The Mail on its way out

Demolition under way at one of Chennai's landmark buildings `The Mail' on Anna Salai on Wednesday. `The Madras Mail', founded in 1868, was a British-owned evening daily and the leading newspaper in the Madras Presidency. It closed down in 1981.
