Goodlass Nerolac offers free insurance scheme

Our Bureau

NEW DELHI, Dec. 30

FOLLOWING the trend of companies offering `free' insurance packages with their products, Goodlass Nerolac, the second largest paint company in the country, too has joined the fray and is giving insurance schemes.

Coinciding with the holiday season, the company has launched a consumer scheme called the `Nerolac Free Insurance Scheme', for which it has partnered with the National Insurance Company Ltd.

Under the scheme, Nerolac will provide insurance cover worth Rs 2,000 on every kilo of `Nerolac Suraksha', an exterior paint. The offer includes a home insurance and personal accident insurance worth Rs 1,000 each (valid for a period of one year).

Says Mr Anuj Jain, Vice-President, Marketing & Sales, Goodlass Nerolac Paints, "The customers are slowly becoming aware of insurance as an important concept. We are trying to highlight the brand benefits of `Suraksha' by linking it to the concept of insurance schemes".
