The Hindu Business Line : Award for NMDC scientists

HYDERABAD: Two scientists of National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), Mr Suresh Chandra and Dr M. K. Dhar, General Manager and Deputy General Manager (R&D) respectively, were bestowed with the National Mineral Award- 2001 by the Union Government's Department of Mines.

The award was given in recognition of their contribution in the field of mineral beneficiation, especially for effective use of mine wastes, according to an NMDC press release.
