Agricultural Technology park mooted

HYDERABAD: The Vice-Chancellor of Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University, Dr I. V. Subba Rao, sought the establishment of an Agricultural Technology Park and offered land to entrepreneurs for this purpose.

Presiding over the university's Research and Extension Advisory Council meeting here on Thursday, Dr Rao emphasised the need for diversification of research to meet the needs of farmers in rain fed areas. He called upon the scientists to accord priority in developing post harvest technologies for export oriented agriculture and horticulture.
