Kisan Divas celebrations

HYDERABAD: Farmers from Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring Karnataka, Maharastra and Tamil Nadu participated in the Kisan Divas to mark the birth centenary of late Chaudhary Charan Singh, the former Prime Minister at the Directorate of Rice Research, here.

At a function organised here, Dr M.V. Rao, former special Director-General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research emphasised the need for information dissemination to all categories of farmers to reduce the yield gap in agriculture.
