Railways PM to launch Rail Vikas Yojana Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: The Prime Minister, Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee, will launch the National Rail Vikas Yojana by inaugurating the work of doubling of Pullampet-Gooty section in Andhra Pradesh through satellite uplink from the Prime Minister's house in New Delhi on Thursday. The project is being taken up to strengthen the Chennai-Mumbai railway line which forms part of the Golden Quadrilateral lines linking the four metro cities, according to a release from the South Central Railway here.
