Cesspool of poison

Hussain Sagar Lake, the venue for the water sport events of the National Games in Hyderabad, is one of the largest man-made lakes in Asia. But effluents from various industrial estates and domestic sewage empty into the Hussain Sagar, turning it into a `cesspool of poison'.
