Recruitment in banks

In the banking industry graduates from a wide range of disciplines are recruited, and most often, such personnel are expected to gain knowledge only through on the job training. Probably, this is one reason why the sector has more than Rs 1,20,000 crore as non-performing assets. Also, the productivity of the bank employees is low.
