The Hindu Business Line : Legato bags HECL order

LEGATO Systems India has announced that Hughes Escorts Communications Ltd. (HECL) has chosen its NetWorker to provide comprehensive data back-up, services to its customers.

According to a statement from the company, the selection of Legato's storage management software was driven by HECL's prime objective to store ever-increasing gigabytes (GB) of mission critical client data in their Internet data centre (IDC). The company previously backed up client data manually, which was time consuming and prone to human error. Legato's NetWorker provides a centralised, automated back-up solution that cost effectively manage their resources and are reliable and robust, it noted.
