Air Sahara launches Crickcitement- II

NEW DELHI, Nov., 14

AFTER wooing the passengers in the air, Air Sahara (AS), now is to woo the passengers on the ground as well with the launch of Crickcitement 2.

The airlines is to hold four mega TV shows on Sahara TV called `India cricket series'. Participants in the show, which is to be hosted by TV anchor and gameshow host, Shekhar Suman, stand a chance to win the Rs 2.5 crore timber chalet at Sahara Lake City, near Mumbai or an E-class Mercedes car among other prizes.

In a statement the airlines has said that 100 invitation out of the 400 invitations have already been won by fliers and they have been invited to participate in the first mega game show for which the first price is a Mercedes Benz car. The show is being organised on November 16.

The airline launched its `Crickcitement' programme on July 21 in which AS fliers won several prizes including DVDs, Plasma TVs, microwave, sport glasses, sports watches, Pentium 4 computers among others

"Air Sahara is known for innovative plans and now that we have become the number one in terms of load factor, we shall continue with more exciting programmes on board our flights," the airlines Chief Executive Officer, Mr Uttam Kumar Bose, said. The airlines, operates 55 flights daily to 12 destinations and has a fleet which includes new generation Boeing 737-800, 737-700 and 737-400 aircraft.
