BSE special margin on 42 scrips

CHENNAI: The Bombay Stock Exchange has revised special margins on 42 scrips from Monday. The margin rates have been revised keeping in view the closing price of the scrip on the last day of the settlement, the BSE said. Special margins will be imposed on the basis of member-wise gross purchase or sales position (client-wise net), the BSE statement added.

Scrips that attracted 25 per cent margin were Amex Info, Arvind Remedy, Brijlaxmi Leasing, Cosmo Films, Database Fin, Dynacon System, Eicher Motor, Electrosteel Castings, ETC Networks, FCGL Industries, Fortune Info, Garware Poly, Genesys Intl, Geodesic Info, Godavari Fert, Hexaware, Ind-Swift, Indo-Rama Synth, Intotech Capital, Inter Travel, IT Microsystem, Jindal Strips, Kaashyap Radiant, KTL Infosys, Landmarc Leisure, Media Matrix, Ondeo Nalco, Orbit Multi Media, Orient Trade, Pan Packaging, Praj Industries, Rashel Agrotech, SB&T International, Somplet, SRF Polymers, Top Telemedia and Veronica Lab.

However, stocks such as GG Automative, Maharashtra Seamless, Matrix Labs and Prraneta Inds attracted 50 per cent margin, the BSE said.
