Announcements Marketing - New Products & Services New range of Tata Safari launched Our Bureau
MUMBAI, Nov. 8 TATA Engineering today announced the launch of a new range of its premium sports utility vehicle (SUV), the Tata Safari, for year 2003. "The new Safari EX and LX come equipped with contemporary interiors and cabin features aimed at providing increased comfort and enhanced ergonomics,'' an official statement said. The Safari EX is priced at Rs 9.23 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) for the 4x2 version and Rs 10.16 lakh for 4x4 version. The LX model costs Rs 7.76 lakh for the 4x2 version and Rs 8.77 lakh for the 4x4 version, the statement said. According to it, the company has a 23 per cent share of the market for utility vehicles (UVs).
