`Vigilance awareness week' at NMPT

MANGALORE, Nov. 8

THE New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) observed `Vigilance Awareness Week' from October 31 to November 6.

According to an NMPT press release, the port's Chairman, Mr N. Dhana Raju, administered a `pledge' to the officers and employees of the port. Various competitions on `vigilance awareness' were conducted during the course of the week.

The `week' was inaugurated by the Inspector-General of Police (Western Range), Mr Dharam Pal Negi.
