Letters Cure from ayurveda
This refers to the news about stricter guidelines being framed for ayurvedic medicines. Nature has its own cures for human diseases. Ayurvedic medicines, in themselves, are generally the safest and without side-effects as they are closest to nature. But with incomplete knowledge of ayurveda, some practitioners are openly playing with the lives of the people by mixing dangerous steroids in ayurvedic powders/syrups for instant effects. Several renowned pharmaceutical companies have successfully introduced purely ayurvedic medicines, which have been adopted by practitioners of modern medical science. It is time Indian medical colleges absorb the knowledge of ayurveda in their education so that packed ayurvedic medicines of reputed companies can be largely prescribed by practitioners of modern medical science.
