Facelift for monuments, museums

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: Intach (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) SA, an organisation working on art and culture, has been entrusted the work of restoration of 21 monuments and museums in the State by the Government.

The Rs one-crore project will cover beautification of the monuments and improving the environs around the historical structures and museums. The preservation and beautification will be done under the supervision of the Department of Archaeology and Museums.
