Meet to educate lay investors, consumers

HYDERABAD, Oct. 31

A THREE-day exhibition-cum-conference, Money-wise@Hyderabad, is being organised by EventXpress, an event management company of the New Indian Express Group of newspapers and Aura during November 15-17 at the Nizam College grounds.

The objective of the event is to inform and educate lay investors and consumers about the emerging opportunities in the fields of personal banking, insurance and mutual funds.

The programme would consist of a series of conference-cum-exhibitions conducted in metros and major cities throughout south India. In addition, easy to read newspaper columns and special publications to help the public understand the changes taking place in the country's financial service sector would be organised, according to a release.

The event will cover consumer banking, all types of insurance, mutual funds, home finance, car and education loans, through seminars, panel discussions, involving experts from the various sectors of the industry.

mportant questions like where to invest, where to borrow, how best to insure life, health and property, and issues pertaining to electronic banking, credit and debit cards, financing of home, cars and education would be addressed.

The event in Hyderabad would be the second in a series planned by EventXpress. The first was held at Kochi during August 2-4.
