GIS-based mapping at ORGI site

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Office of the Registrar-General and Census Commissioner (ORGI) has made available through its Web site the facility of a user-friendly geographic information system (GIS)-based interactive mapping at the State and district levels.

Announcing this, an official spokesman said that all relevant information is available free of cost at the click of a mouse. The facility is sought to be extended for viewing census data at further low geographical levels soon.
