Bank ATMs

With the recent advances in technology in the banking sector, many users tend to complete all their banking transactions either through the Net or ATMS. Still, some banks do not have ATM facilities in some locations.

It would be very useful if all the banks have common ATMs for easier customer access within a reasonable distance, instead of having ATMs for each bank separately, or only at specific locations. If all the banks agree in principle to this approach, it would not only help all the customers to have a easy access but also would reduce the banks' investment cost in ATMs to a certain extent and, partly, the transaction cost as the customer is using the services through the ATMs instead of visiting the banks' branch.

This would also reduce the transaction cost for the customer as, at present, customers are charged if they use ATMs other than the one specified by their respective bankers.
