SchlumbergerSema to launch `simgo'

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: SchlumbergerSema has signed on an unnamed local mobile operator to launch its `simgo' system in India next month. This will be the first global launch of simgo, Mr Claus Hansen, Sales and Marketing Director, Mobile Communications, Asia Pacific, said.

Simgo is a Java-based system that helps cellular operators to design, deploy and update their value-added services portfolio and helps generate new short-messaging-system revenues. Simgo also offers consulting and support services to enable cellular operators meet their subscribers' increasing demand for personalised services, thereby reducing the costs and time-to-market.
