NEW DELHI, Oct. 24

THE Supreme Court on Thursday said that it will pronounce its verdict on the public interest litigation against Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Ltd on Friday.

The PIL against KIOCL initiated by non-Governmental organisations (NGOs) and environment protection groups was adjourned twice earlier during the week on Tuesday and Wednesday. KIOCL is facing the possibility of a premature closure on grounds of environmental concerns.
