Karnataka Govt move on bio-tech start-ups

BANGALORE: Karnataka will decide on creating a corpus fund of Rs 50 crore for bio-technology start-ups only after studying the need for it, according to the Secretary for IT and Biotechnology, Mr Vivek Kulkarni. Many venture capital and private people are coming forward to invest in ventures of bio-technology. The Government would create a corpus fund as and when the need comes, he said.
