The Hindu Business Line : Indigenous LPG kit for small cars launched

THE Delhi-based Yash Propane Auto Energy Pvt Ltd has launched indigenously developed LPG kits for passenger cars with engine capacity ranging between 600 cc and 1,000 cc.

According to the company, it has obtained all the necessary clearances for the kits, priced at about Rs 18,000.

In a statement here, the company said that 12 trained dealers had been appointed in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi to market the kits.

Kits for cars with engine capacity of 1,000-1,875 cc would be available by early 2003, the statement said.
