People Sisodia moves to Defence Production Our Bureau
NEW DELHI, Oct. 8 IN a bureaucratic reshuffle, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has decided to appoint Mr N.S. Sisodia as Secretary, Department of Defence Production and Supplies. He was the Special Secretary, Ministry of Power. Mr M.M.K. Sardana, an Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Ministry of External Affairs, will take over as Special Secretary, Ministry of Power. The ACC has also decided to appoint Mr S. Nautiyal, currently Additional Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, as Chairman, Food Corporation of India, while Ms Uma Pillai has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director, Rural Electrification Corporation.
