Stock Markets Money & Banking - Stocks ICICI Bank: Delivery ratio low on NSE Our Market Bureau
CHENNAI, Sept. 26 ICICI Bank saw huge block deals on the NSE as well. Trading volumes on this exchange amounted to 25.27 lakh shares. Interestingly, not all the shares were presented for delivery at the end of the day. According to the statistics published by the NSE, only 12.68 per cent of the total traded quantity came up for delivery. This is in sharp contrast to the trading pattern on the BSE where 98 per cent of the traded quantity was presented for delivery. Notwithstanding the low delivery-to-traded quantity ratio, a number of block deals were struck in the counter on the NSE. The stock closed Rs 1.65 lower at Rs 135.35 on the NSE.
