Wheat meet from today

HYDERABAD, Sept. 26

A TWO-DAY seminar on `Wheat and wheat products: Global perspectives', is being organised here from Friday to chalk out strategies for policy formulation in different sectors of the wheat chain for its future development.

The seminar is being organised by the Wheat Products Promotion Society along with the Roller Flour Millers' Federation of India, Roller Flour Mills Association of Andhra Pradesh, All-India Bread Manufacturers' Association, the Society of Indian Bakers and the US Wheat Associates.

Over 400 delegates from India and abroad were expected to take part in the seminar to be inaugurated by Mr Sharad Yadav, Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
