BANGALORE: The Bangalore-based Environmental Management & Policy Research Institute (EMPRI) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on Monday joined hands to provide training and consultancy services for highly polluting industries in Karnataka to obtain ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems certification.
An MoU to this effect was signed between EMPRI and FICCI's Quality Forum (FQF) for targeting the red labelled industries (which constitute 17 categories of highly polluting industries).
Mr D.V.
