BoI to merge asset management co

MUMBAI: Bank of India (BoI) has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that it has decided to merge its wholly-owned subsidiary, BoI Asset Management Company Ltd with itself.

The merger is for the purpose of dissolving BoI Asset Management, so that it can exit from the mutual funds business. The bank's board okayed the merger at its meeting held on Tuesday.
