Strategy Daikin's Solution Plaza in Mumbai Our Bureau

MUMBAI, Sept. 4 The Rs 84-crore Daikin Shriram Airconditioning is planning to open seven Solution Plazas across the country. At a press conference Mr Rajnish Ohri, General Manager- Marketing, Daikin Sriram said, "These plazas will be both company and dealer-operated properties. The objective is to expose the company's products to our prospective customers." Marking an average investment of Rs 75 lakh per plaza, the company has recently opened its third Solutions Plaza at Prabhadevi in Mumbai after Chennai and Lucknow. Targeting a turnover of Rs 120 crore this fiscal, Daikin has allocated an ad budget of Rs 7.5 crore for the year. Its advertising account rests with Refifussion DY&R. Besides, it is also aiming at a market share of 16 per cent in the premium split airconditioning segment this year.
