Federal Bank, UAE firm tie up for fund transfer

KOCHI, Sept. 3

FEDFAST, Federal Bank's instant money transfer solution, is now available through all the branches of Thomas Cook Al Rostamani Exchange in UAE.

With a view to enhancing the services offered to its non-resident customers mainly in the Gulf, the bank had recently launched FedFast, a speedy remittance service.

Instant money transfer has always been a high priority customer need as far as the NRI community is concerned, Federal Bank said in a press release

FedFast is an advanced funds transfer solution, which employs Internet based technology. FedFast offers real time transfer of funds from overseas exchange houses to the bank's international banking department in Kochi as well as to its branches. Thomas Cook Al Rostamani Exchange is one of the oldest exchange companies in the UAE, the release pointed out. Through this new tie-up, non-resident Indians in the Gulf can avail of the benefit of instant fund transfer from all the branches of the exchange house to 414 branches of Federal Bank spread across the country.
