Letters Recovering dues
This refers to the news item `Clear phone dues, win a Maruti!' (Business Line, August 27). It is reported that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has decided to implement two novel schemes to recover over Rs 4,000 crore in arrears. Generally such incentive schemes are introduced to promote sales. Could not the BSNL introduce a collecting system that is better and does not accumulate arrears? A. Jacob Sahayam
