People Anand Mahindra a model? Our Bureau
MUMBAI, Aug. 18 ANAND Mahindra, a model? Well, a shareholder of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd believes that Mr Mahindra, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the auto major, is a better candidate as a model for the company's latest launch - Scorpio. "Why give Rs 5 crore to Sachin Tendulkar or Shah Rukh Khan when we have our own Anandji,'' Ms Shobhana Mehta, a shareholder, said at the company's annual general meeting. "I am game, but I should be paid Rs 5 crore,'' Mr. Mahindra said. To which Mr Keshub Mahindra, Chairman, M&M, said he would allow this only if the junior Mahindra shared the money with him.
