Duty on thermal paper imports from China

NEW DELHI, July 29

THE Finance Ministry has imposed definitive anti-dumping duty on all imports of thermal sensitive paper (TSP) from China.

Based on the recommendations of the designated authority in the Commerce Ministry in its final findings, the Revenue Department has now imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty of $0.967 per kg on all imports of TSP from China.

The petition seeking anti-dumping probe on TSP imports from China had been filed by Shree Krishna Paper Mills & Industries Ltd.

TSP used in ECG machines and other medical equipments, seismographic machines, airline baggage tagging, tickets, boarding cards etc.
