Edumark ties up with Macmillan

HYDERABAD, July 24

EDUMARK, a division of the city-based Realmark services has tied up with Macmillan India to promote online executive development programmes from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kolkata.

EMacmillan, the business division of Macmillan India, has developed the online learning Web site called www.develop.emacmillan.com/iimc in collaboration with IIM.

With this tie-up Edumark will promote courses in Hyderabad. Announcing the partnership, Mr Sudhanshu Shah, Chief Executive of Edumark, said "management development programmes that are easily accessible and offer the flexibility of time and ease have been a long-felt need of working executives".

Edumark, which is engaged in promoting management development and knowledge-based programmes will under the new collaboration offer courses in corporate finance and personal effectiveness in the new economy to start with, according to a press release.

The courses are targeted at working professionals and would be available online. They will provide an opportunity to professionals to enhance and update their management and professional skills, he said.

Both these training courses have been designed by the faculty of the IIM, Kolkata and aim to enhance executive competitiveness at workplace and equip them with awareness about dynamic economic environment, the release added.
