Pentamedia Graphics Q1 net down

CHENNAI, July 22

PENTAMEDIA Graphics Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 14.52 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2002 as compared to Rs 41.74 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2001. The company's turnover dropped to Rs 70.20 crore (Rs 158.09 crore), the company has said in a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Expenditure for Q1 of 2002-03 was Rs 41.37 crore (Rs 95.28 crore), and depreciation was Rs 20.53 crore (Rs 13.26 crore). For the year ended March 31, 2002, the company reported a net profit of Rs 134.45 crore (Rs 153.55 crore) on a turnover of Rs 661.17 crore (Rs 570.16 crore).
