Telecommunications BPL Mobile slashes ISD rates Our Bureau
KOCHI: BPL Mobile has said that it will be passing on the ISD rate reduction by VSNL to its subscribers, thereby ensuring maximum value to them. ISD rates have come down to Rs 21 per minute for SAARC countries and Rs 24 for the rest of the world, while the off peak rates have fallen to Rs 18 and Rs 21 respectively, a release issued here has said. The off peak rates will be applicable for Sundays and National holidays. ``In line with our consistent effort to make the category more affordable we are completely passing on the benefit of VSNL rate reduction to our subscribers,'' Mr R A Venkitachalam, Chief Operating Officer, Kerala and Tamil Nadu said.
