Bharti slashes AirTel charges

CHENNAI: Bharti Mobinet Ltd has reduced the airtime charges for AirTel customers in Chennai. The revised airtime charges would be Rs 2.49 per 60 seconds for outgoing calls, a 38 per cent drop from the earlier charges, effectively from July 17.

The revision will be applicable to all existing customers in Smart life and Value life plans. Customers on other plans who wish to get the advantage of these rates can opt to migrate to these plans, says a release.
