Our Bureau

MUMBAI: D-Link Corporation has posted a net profit of Rs 5.75 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2002 compared to Rs 5.12 core during the corresponding period last year.

Sales for the quarter stood at Rs 41.89 crore as against Rs 38.05 crore in the same period last year.

According to a company release, its recent foray into the motherboard market has helped it to capture an over 10 per cent market share in the segment with its Digilink-Gigabyte motherboards.

During the quarter, D-Link has also received major orders from organisations in banking, insurance and defence sectors. The company has launched a range of new generation high end products like Layer 3 switches in its Enterprise networking segments.

The company added that it has an extremely healthy order book position and plans to further expand its operations into the SAARC region and Middle East countries.
