MUMBAI, July 15

ONLINE share trading service, ICICIdirect.com, has launched `Direct Alerts', a facility that gives "pre-specified alerts to customers through short messaging service''.

A company release issued here today said the technology for the service, rated `TXA1' by Crisil for its strong operational capability in executing broking transactions, was provided by iSolv. The facility would allow customers to place different types of alerts such as the 52-week high or low level and last traded price, the release said.
