Raunaq Plastics sets up facility near Kolkata

KOLKATA, July 11

RAUNAQ Plastics Ltd has set up a roto-moulded and extruded product unit at Uluberia, near the city, entailing a total investment of Rs 5 crore.

The unit, which will be formally commissioned in mid-August, has a capacity of producing 800 tpa roto-moulded products and another 800 tpa of extruded items.

The company is promoted by the city-based Raunaq group.

Mr D. Himmtramka, Chairman and Managing Director of the group, said here today that 40 per cent of the project cost of Raunaq Plastics was funded by the promoters and the rest came from loans and advances.
