Karnataka Oppn demands revolving fund for draught relief

BANGALORE: The Opposition members in the Legislative Assembly have demanded setting up of a revolving fund for drought relief works so that there is no delay in undertaking works whenever monsoon fails.

They also demanded that immediate suspension of recovery or loans from farmers who are in distress due to poor rains. The demand spearheaded by the Opposition leader in the House, Mr P.G.R. Scindhia, also demanded setting up of fodder banks.
